Slaine Releases Video For ‘99 Bottles’ Directed By Danny Boy From House Of Pain/La Coka Nostra
Boston rapper Slaine, of the rap super group, La Coka Nostra, has released his video for the track “99 Bottles” online. The track is the lead single from Slaine’s upcoming solo debut ,”A World With No Skies”, which is scheduled for release in early 2011 through Suburban Noize.
“’99 Bottles’ is basically a bar room brawl anthem that has a throwback sound to the era where hip-hop was rowdy and fun at the same time,” commented Slaine. “I was not only influenced by House of Pain and Cypress Hill, but now I am kind of a part of that lineage in the hip-hop family tree. This joint was kind of a tip of the cap to them with my own rhyme style and personality on it. I don’t like club songs, when I want to party and get bent, this is what it sounds like.”
Slaine is currently offering fans a free download of his new mixtape “The Devil Never Dies” available as a free download at http://subnoize.fm/devilneverdies. His new solo album “A World With No Skies” can be pre-ordered online.
Slaine will join the Kottonmouth Kings and Big B on the second leg of the Party Monsters Tour beginning November 13th in Hollywood, CA at The Key Club.
