ELECTRO-POP DUO JAMAICA BRINGS HIGH INTENSITY LIVE SHOW TO ALL-AGES NYC KIDROCKERS SERIES APRIL 16, ON HEELS OF DEBUT LP NO PROBLEM RELEASE

SPRING U.S. TOUR KICKS OFF TODAY IN WASHINGTON D.C.

Electro-pop duo Jamaica weren’t kidding when they decided to bring their music to the masses. Along with the physical and digital April 12 release of debut deluxe LP No Problem, the band will play a very special all-ages KIDROCKERS show on April 16 at the Living Room in New York. Jamaica will be joining a long list of indie-rock superstars (Silversun Pickups, Ra Ra Riot, Local Natives, among others) by performing the KIDROCKERS series.

Founded in NYC in 2007, KIDROCKERS now hosts events in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, and Chicago. The all-ages shows are designed to bring families together to experience some of the most vital and engaging artists in indie music and comedy. KIDROCKERS is only one stop on Jamaica’s cross-country US tour. For a sneak peak into their live antics, preview the tour trailer here:

Released April 12, Jamaica’s debut LP, No Problem, is eleven tracks of pure, sonic bliss, melding the worlds of electro pop with no frills, hook-laden rock. The band has been singled out in Alternative Press magazines’ annual “100 Bands You Need To Know” issue, who noted: “On No Problem, the duo of guitarist/vocalist Antoine Hilaire and bassist/vocalist Florent Lyonnet deliver classic rock that has one foot planted in the bell-bottomed ’70s and the other bridging ’80 and ’90s alt-pop.”
