RYAN LESLIE RELEASES “GLORY,” FIRST VIDEO FROM NEW ALBUM LES IS MORE VIDEO RELEASED IN CONJUNCTION WITH NEW TRACK AVAILABLE ON ITUNES

Singer, songwriter, producer, and entrepreneur Ryan Leslie is prepping for his highly anticipated album, Les Is More, with the release of “Glory,” the first track from the album available on iTunes now.

Leslie is no stranger to glory. A graduate of Harvard at 19, his first mentors in the music industry were Sean “Diddy” Combs and Tommy Mattola. Since then, he has gone on to produce Billboard-topping tracks for the likes of Fabolous, Mary J Blige, Britney Spears, as well as launching the career of fledgling pop-star Cassie. Not to be outdone, his own solo efforts have been highly applauded, earning him nominations for “Best New Artist” and “Best Male R&B Artist” at the 2009 BET Awards as well as a Grammy nomination for Transition.

“Glory” is an honest account of Ryan’s further step into the spotlight, noting that beyond the accolades and accomplishments to date, he is still very determined to succeed on his own terms. The song and video personifies what the entire album narrates – the story of a man defying all labels and pigeonholing, and relying on his pure artistry to bring about success. “Listen, they tried to put me in a box – ‘the urban dude’ / I missed the festivals – Coachella, Bonnaroo / They never really understood what I was tryna do.”

Although he accounts having been overlooked for some of the top music festivals in the past, Leslie made his Coachella debut this past weekend in Indio, CA. More dates are planned in support of the release, including US and European tours.
