The highly anticipated debut full length by club pop sensation Dev has received a new release date. On November 1st, 2011, expect The Night The Sun Came Up (Universal Republic), in stores and digital retailers alike.

The Night The Sun Came Up will be worth the wait as proven by Dev’s current single, “In The Dark.” The electro pop track, which received remixes from 50 Cent and Flo Rida, was the most added song at Top 40 Radio as well as impressively gaining traction on Rhythmic. Poised to be a prophetic follow up to the gold-selling single, “Bass Down Low.”

In order to expand the full album’s track-listing, Dev did not resist the impulse to go back into the studio recently with production duo The Cataracs to flesh out new ideas and round out the album as it nears release. The expectant mother is eager to add a few new songs that reflect her recent experiences which she succinctly sums up as “crazy, fun and unforgettable”. Dev’s dynamic life coupled with the breadth of her skill ensure an album that will resonate in clubs, on the radio, with fans and critics alike.
