Chicago production duo, The Hood Internet, is gearing up for a string of dates that will have the masterful genre-blenders traversing America this fall. Always forging unexpected musical connections that bridge the sonic gap, ABX and STV SLV will not only be bringing their signature mash-ups to dance hungry crowds across the country but a whole crop of new sample-free originals from their upcoming LP, FEAT, as well. The album, their official debut, is slated for release on October 2nd on Decon Records and features a wealth of contributions from indie heavyweights, including A.C. Newman of the New Pornographers, Annie Hart, Isaiah Toothtaker, Psalm One, BBU, Class Actress and more. The first single from FEAT, “Wont F— Us Over” is now available on iTunes.
The Hood Internet always bring an unparalleled level of energy to their live performances, which will undoubtedly leave audiences sweaty and craving more. The tour kicks off on September 12th in Grand Rapids with openers Body Language, My Gold Mask and Oscillator Bug.
