PORTER ROBINSON & ZEDD TO EMBARK ON CO-HEADLINING “POSEIDON TOUR”

PorterRobinson, the producer/DJ behind the definitive smash single of the summer, “Language”, is embarking with compatriot Zedd on a series of collaborative, “Back-To-Back” co-headlining sets on The Poseidon Tour this fall. The 20 year-old, whose Spitfire EP on Skrillex’s OWSLA cemented him as one of the most intrepid talents in the young crop of emerging US EDM by selling 25,000 copies to date, is on the lips of the global dance industry and in the headphones of listeners world wide. “Language” has been among the most played songs on BBC Radio 1 this summer and has seen support from a wide range of heavy-hitters. In a live capacity, the typically reserved Robinson is electric, whipping audiences into a frenzy at festivals on 3 continents including Coachella, Tomorrowland, and Creamfields this year.
German-raised EDM producer/DJ/songwriter, Zedd, just announced his debut album, Clarity, will be released October 9th via Interscope Records. As a Rolling Stone “Artist to Watch” for 2012 as well as a Billboard 2012 Fall Preview “10 to Watch”, Zedd is poised to become one of the biggest names in the music world. He has separated himself in a crowded field by drawing from a diverse musical training and background spanning from classical to post-hardcore/metal to electro house in order to make meticulously detailed and carefully produced compositions. Having already toured with Lady Gaga on her “Born This Way Ball’ tour, Skrillex and Deadmau5 among others, Zedd will join fellow artist and friend, Porter Robinson for their Poseidon Tour this fall.
