Meta P is a Rhode Island Native who is known for everything from dark “horrorcore” to to deep and touching subjects such as “Dragonfly,” which examined and explored the recent death of his twin sister; which was verified on his most recent LP Edison Ink.
In June 2012, Meta was named “Best Rap Act of 2012” by the Providence Phoenix and has been featured in the Boston Phoenix, East Bay Newspapers and Fox Channel 12 in Providence. He has also been seen on stage with acts such as Onyx, Action Bronson and Raekwon and appeared on tracks not only with Celph Titled but Apathy and DJ Doo Wop among others.
Calling upon a lifetime of experience, Toronto rapper FenaxiZ vividly depicts his hometown with a candid honesty. While some glorify the violence that plagues the city and others hail Toronto as a tourist-friendly destination, FenaxiZ instead offers a metropolis of “students, hustlers, everyday citizens, hard-working immigrants tryna earn dividends” as he guides his audience through areas such as Kensington Market, the Financial district, St. Jamestown, and Rosedale. He finally concludes after seeing “the good, the bad, the beauty, the ugly,” that “it is what it is and this the real Toronto.”
“The Real Toronto” is produced by AmiR and is the sixth single/video off “Vintage,” the first full-length album by FenaxiZ.

UK Electronic Duo Release New EP October 2 on Wichita Recordings
Debut New Video For “’I Waited For You’”
U.S. Tour Kicks Off November 30 in Los Angeles
UK electronic duo Simian Mobile Disco are set to release A Form Of Change next Tuesday, October 2 on Wichita Records. The 4-song EP comes from the same recording sessions as their critically praised album Unpatterns, released earlier this year. The collection is another sterling example of Simian Mobile Disco’s restless creativity, and their yen for refining and redefining the parameters of their own musical landscape with almost laserlike precision, following Brian Eno’s maxim that “repetition is a form of change.”
The tirelessly innovative Simian Mobile Disco–aka James Ford and Jas Shaw—have also just released the video for “I Waited For You,” a track from Unpatterns. The video was crafted by Hans Lo and Kate Moross (ISO Studios) and can be seen above.
Jas & James will also bring their dynamic new live show to North America for a 14-date late-fall tour, kicking off November 30 in Los Angeles and concluding on the inaugural S.S. Coachella.
