Bonnaroo 2013 Festival Scheduled Line-up

Definitely favouring a more urban feel than previous years, Bonnaroo 2013 is definitely seeming to be one of the year’s most appealing festivals. Manchester, Tennessee is now used to putting on the prestigious festival event, with the White Castle in Murfreesboro being amongst the best staff to advice you about the various precautions to take in planning your trip. Buy your tickets today when they’re first released to the public, as I’d be extremely surprised if they didn’t sell out.

Yuna: Tour with Michael Kiwanuka, Allen Stone, “CBS This Morning” Performance

Today, FADER Label announces that critically acclaimed, indie-songstress Yuna will head out on a US tour this September with Michael Kiwanuka, followed by a string of West Coast performances where she will join Allen Stone. The announcement comes on the heels of a widely successful set at Lollapalooza where Yuna performed before a rapt audience. She was photographed, giving a nod to her stunning look, by everyone from the Teen Vogue to Refinery 29 and received praise for her “organic, soulful voice reminiscent of the classic torch crooners” by the Chicago Tribune, Time Out Chicago, Billboard, and Huffington Post:

“Remember this name. One can’t help but smile as they watch Yuna play her bubbly, indie jams, including “Remember My Name” and “Live Your Life.” This set was a real revelation of the weekend.”

On Saturday, August 11th, Yuna will appear live on the national program “CBS This Morning” to perform the single “Lullabies”. The episode airs from 7AM to 9AM nationwide and will also feature a profile interview by Anthony Mason.

Yuna made her late-night TV debut on CONAN and has since played arena-sized venues on tour with David Gray, packed crowds at Bonnaroo, Capitol Hill Block Party, and Lollapalooza, and has been featured in Marie Claire, Allure, Glamour, National Geographic, Spin, Rolling Stone, and VIBE, receiving comparisons to artists like Bon Iver, The Cardigans, and Fiona Apple.
