“IN AND OUT OF LOVE,” the extraordinary debut album from Bad Boy recording artist Cheri Dennis, is quickly shaping up as one of the year’s most exciting success stories. Released exclusively last week on the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com) – three months before its physical release on February 26, 2008 – the collection instantly reached the top 10 on iTunes’ “Top R&B/Soul Albums” sales chart. “IN AND OUT OF LOVE” marks the first-ever major label R&B album to receive a three-month digital exclusive release via iTunes.

iTunes’ exclusive release of “IN AND OUT OF LOVE” was heralded by the selection of the Rodney Jerkins-produced album track, “Remind You,” as the iTunes Store’s “Single of the Week.” The track has already proven a major hit, with nearly a quarter of a million free downloads thus far. In addition, in a first-of-its-kind promotion, the full-length album tracks are featured in all the music player spots on the homepage of imeem.com, the fastest-growing social networking site on the internet.

Cheri is currently out on national promotional tour to support her album release, with a whirlwind of radio and press appearances scheduled through December. Among the highlights will be an exclusive live performance at Chicago’s Apple Store (679 N. Michigan Ave.) on Thursday, November 29th at 2 pm.

In addition to “Remind You,” the eagerly anticipated “IN AND OUT OF LOVE” features Dennis’ debut hit single, “I Love You,” as well as the upcoming new jam, “Portrait of Love (Feat. Yung Joc and Gorilla Zoe).” The track – produced by Soul Diggaz (Beyoncé, Mary J Blige, Britney Spears) – will impact at multi-format radio outlets nationwide on December 3rd. Bad Boy recording artist Cheri Dennis has unveiled details of her eagerly awaited debut album, “IN AND OUT OF LOVE.” The collection – which includes last year’s breakthrough single, “I Love You” – will be released digitally on the iTunes Store (www.itunes.com) on Tuesday, November 13th – a full three months before its physical release hits stores on February 26th, 2008. “IN AND OUT OF LOVE” marks the first-ever major label R&B album to receive a three month digital exclusive release via iTunes.

Along with the aforementioned tracks, “IN AND OUT OF LOVE” is highlighted by the much-anticipated new single, “Portrait of Love (Feat. With her striking looks and knock-you-out vocals, Dennis was discovered and immediately signed in New York by Bad Boy founder and CEO Sean “Diddy” Combs himself after impressing him with an impromptu live performance. Cheri’s first single, “I Love You” – produced by Ryan Leslie (Beyoncé, Snoop Dogg, Cassie, JoJo) – proved one of 2006’s most popular R&B releases, reaching the Top 40 on Billboard’s “Hot R&B/Hip Hop Singles & Tracks” chart.
