“Cormega and I were trying to keep the first single, “Fresh” from his forthcoming solo album, Born & Raised on the low until we could present it in a way that would pay proper homage to the legends featured on the track – Parrish Smith, Big Daddy Kane, KRS-1, Grand Puba, and Red Alert, but a DJ leaked the song and we lost that opportunity. I didn’t get to write my nice little excited press release and announce Cormega’s next solo album, Born & Raised or announce his availibility for interviews. You know us PR folk do.
