HARD ANNOUNCES LINEUP FOR HARD NYE 2010 ARTISTS INCLUDE MR. OIZO, BRODINSKI, DJ FALCON, CONGOROCK, HARVARD BASS, DESTRUCTO, MIKE MESSEX, AND SEAN PERRY
LIMITED CAPACITY GUARANTEES INTIMATE SETTING FOR ELECTRONIC MUSIC LOVERS
As the first year of the new decade comes to an end, it’s obvious which national event organizers have prevailed as the premier promoters of cutting edge electronic, rap, and all things danceable- HARD. To celebrate the year of successful bi-coastal summer festivals, a twelve-city tour with Crystal Castles and Rusko, special events including HARD Haunted Mansion in LA with Underworld and Bloody Beetroots, and HARD Turkey Soup in NYC with A-Trak, Flying Lotus, and Yelawolf, HARD has announced their final 2010 event, HARD NYE. The year-end blowout will commence at the newly renovated The Music Box in Hollywood on December 31st.
As always, HARD has chosen a combination of national and international acts to create a lineup appealing to a variety of electronic music fans. French filmmaker / electronic superstar Mr. Oizo will headline the festive occasion. Supporting acts include Afro-beat/Disco House programming aficionado Brodinski, the talented French remix artist DJ Falcon, Fools Gold Records’ own fidget-house master Congorock, minimalist ghetto house blaster Harvard Bass, and HARD’s very own Destructo. Featured in the funk room will be the ’70’s grooves of classic LA old-school DJs Mike Messex and Sean Perry.
Unlike most HARD events this year, organizers have chosen an indoor venue for their New Year’s Eve bash. The smaller and more intimate venue will allow all guests to feel up close and personal to their favorite DJs all under one roof. Tickets are limited and HARD is encouraging everyone to purchase their passes early.
