Step Up 2 The Streets is the follow-up to the smash hit Step Up, which ignited theaters in August 2006. When rebellious street dancer Andie (Briana Evigan) lands at the elite Maryland School of the Arts, she finds herself fighting to fit in while also trying to hold onto her old life. When she joins forces with the school’s hottest dancer Chase (Robert Hoffman) to form a crew of classmate outcasts to compete in Baltimore’s underground dance battle, The Streets, she ultimately finds a way to live her dream while building a bridge between her two separate worlds.

Flo Rida is quickly marking himself as one of the hottest new voices in hip-hop. The Carol City, FL native has announced plans to release his major label debut album, “MAIL ON SUNDAY,” in February of 2008. The album sees Flo Rida joined not only by T-Pain but other major-league guests including Rick Ross and Trey Songz, with production from an incredible line-up including The Runners, JR Rotem, and Atlanta’s DJ Montay, who produced “Low.”
At Rhythmic radio, “Low” is currently locked inside the Top 5 and was the #1 greatest gainer for the third consecutive week. Its one-week increase was up 806 spins, one of the largest spin gains of 2007. At Top 40 radio, “Low” has had yet another a mammoth week, jumping to #23 with a bullet. The track is currently in full-time rotation at both Pop and Rhythmic formats in every major market in the country, and countless stations are reporting that “Low” is their #1 most-requested song.
The new companion video for “Low” is blowing up at MTV, where it has already been added to rotation at MTV, MTV2, MTV Hits, and MTV Jams, as well as at BET. Last week, MTV’s TRL and BET’s 106 & Park premiered the video, in addition to other recent premieres on MTV2’s Sucker Free and BET’s Rap City.

Flo Rida – Low video featuring T-Pain
T-Pain got his big break when, after doing an unofficial remix of Akon’s “Locked Up,” the African sensation signed T-Pain to his Konvict Music imprint. Since then, the soulful Florida native has had a meteoric ascension topping charts in the mainstream, hip-hop and R&B genres. T-Pain’s first solo effort, Rappa Ternt Sanga (2005, Jive/Konvict Musik) brought the smash hits “I’m Sprung,” and “I’m In Love With A Stripper,” which sold over five million ring tones combined. Coming back strong in 2007, T-Pain has been hard at work constructing his sophomore joint Epiphany. “There has been a growth inside of me since I made that first album,” T-Pain explains. Personal without being pretentious, Epiphany offers the listener a variety of musical styles that ranges from the snappin’ first single “Buy U a Drank” (featuring Yung Joc) to the rebel reggae furor of “Shotz” to the deep message of “Suicide.” In addition to Epiphany, T-Pain is currently gearing up to start working with various artists on outside projects including R. Kelly, Kanye West, Usher, Britney Spears and tour/label mate Chris Brown. “I’ve gotten so many calls from artists who want to work with me,” T-Pain explains. “Right now, it’s a very exciting time.”
