Tech N9ne tour dates and Welcome To Strangeland album news

STRANGE MUSIC AND TECH N9NE PROUDLY PRESENT: WELCOME TO STRANGELAND — THE ALBUM THE LOST CITIES — TOUR CAPPING THE HOTTEST YEAR YET IN THE CAREER OF HIP-HOP’S BIGGEST INDEPENDENT STAR

It’s been an extraordinary year for Tech N9ne, and Strange Music’s co-founder and flagship artist is charging hard to the finish. Having racked up the highest debuting independent hip-hop album of 2011 with All 6’s and 7’s, (#1 Billboard Independent album; #4 Billboard Top 200), and delivered the continent-shaking All 6’s and 7’s The Tour, Tech N9ne releases Welcome To Strangeland on his birthday, November 8, 2011.

The first album in his vaunted Collabos series to feature exclusively Strange Music artists, Welcome To Strangeland is Tech’s personal invitation into his own unique world. Unsettling and inspiring in equal measure, Welcome To Strangeland is a strictly Strange Music affair – featuring appearances by new Strange soldiers Stevie Stone, Mayday, Brotha Lynch Hung and Young Bleed, as well as renowned Strangeland residents Krizz Kaliko, Kutt Calhoun and the 816 Boys. Welcome To Strangeland stomp-out jams “Cocky,” “Unfair,” and “Bang Out” are just a few of the hot spots on Tech N9ne’s guided tour of Strangeland.

“Most artists, they’ll invite another rapper to guest on their track, but then have that rapper record their part first to make sure they don’t get shown up,” says Tech. “Not me. I’m a Technician. I’m fully confident in my ability and my delivery. I’ll always record my part first so that anyone I’m collaborating with understands where I’m coming from and the level of quality I represent. That’s why I’m always completely behind these Collabos releases. Seeing how the artists on Welcome To Strangeland are all artists fit to be members of the Strange Music roster, this is the strongest, Strangest Collabo release yet.”

But it wouldn’t be a Tech N9ne project if it wasn’t being delivered to the people, live and direct. The release of Welcome To Strangeland is being accompanied by The Lost Cities Tour. Kicking off September 29th in Lawrence, Kansas, Lost Cities – The Tour encompasses 42 shows before wrapping up with a homecoming concert on November 11th at Kansas City’s Midland Theater.

The hardest rapping man in show business is ready to stamp your passport. Welcome you to the Strangest land of all.
